One of the first 'major' changes to the van was the removal of the bulkhead. After cleaning out the van of all the leftover roofing material (wooden boxes screwed to the wall and the floor) and the spare tyre, which will be relocated to the back door. It was time to let the light shine through!
Because of the way the bulkhead sloped into the body of the van, we felt that we were losing too much valuable space, not to mention natural light. Removal wasn't going to impact the cab seats, so it was time to go.
We instantly added 3' of living space! Time to swivel those passenger seats!
